Our team is searching for a senior engineer proficiently skilled in a variety of Java technologies to assist and lead in design and implementation of the application and services.Primary Duties & Responsibilities- Proficient coding skills in Java and Java Spring Boot
- Proven understanding of micro service design patterns and implementation.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and containerization concepts
- Working Knowledge of Cloud Concepts like Serverless, Computing, Storage and Cloud Native Application Design. AWS Stack is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Event Driven Architecture and eventing patterns. (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Demonstrates technical leadership to team.
- Establishes, aggregates, and shares team standards and best practices within department.
- Applies working relationships across teams within their division.
- Assesses and provides solutions to system-wide architectural problems.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years professional experience required
- 3-5+ years of experience working with modern engineering tools, languages and practices
- Proven critical thinking, ownership mindset and continuous learning
- Experience developing solutions using agile methods
- Mentor for the team and department
- Advanced skillset in one or more technical platforms
- Capable of presenting between product, engineering, and the business units
- Manages own time to meet objectives
- Ability to perform peer reviews on code and design
- Proven understanding of design patterns and architecture
