Description We are inviting applications for the role of a Settlements Specialist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role is focused on understanding and managing the settlements process, ensuring loads are paid post-delivery, and maintaining constant communication with terminals. This role is a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of driver payments and terminal closures. Collaborating with other Settlements Specialists as necessary. Managing and updating settlement terminal profiles to maintain current records. Performing administrative tasks in support of the Settlements Department. Handling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting multiple deadlines. Using strong computer skills to manage data in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various proprietary systems. Utilizing excellent data entry skills to maintain accurate customer credit records. Exercising strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Communicating effectively, both verbally and written, with different stakeholders. Taking on other duties as assigned by the Director of Pricing, Billing & Settlements. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Billing processes and procedures Knowledge of Pricing strategies and techniques Proven track record of Negotiating Settlements Advanced skills in MS Excel Experience in Data Entry with high level of accuracy Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills High level of attention to detail and organization skills Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
