Social Media Specialist

OVERVIEWAs a Social Media Specialist, you will listen and engage with social media users to build community, provide customer care, and protect our brand reputation. You will monitor, respond, and interact in all social media channels for ITW Welding brands in North America, which includes Miller®, Hobart®, Bernard® and Tregaskiss®. In addition, you will help deliver optimal social media experiences by assisting with social channel administration, performance and insights reporting, and tasks supporting execution of social media plans. You will work closely with brand and digital marketing teams and product teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSSome of the key responsibilities include:Monitor multiple social media channels and respond to comments in a timely and professional manner or escalate in line with moderation policyDeliver engaging, responsive, responsible, and relevant social media interactions and amplify positive actions to strengthen the connection followers and influencers have with the brandPerform tasks supporting execution of social media strategies to drive user engagement and assist with exploring and testing evolving social platform functionality and trendsShare conversation insights and trends to aid the organization in creating more impactful content, campaigns, and strategiesAssist in executing processes to ensure legal compliance related to sharing user-generated contentCoordinate with internal experts to develop and maintain documented responses and processesAssist with tracking and analyzing performance metrics and competitive researchMaintain awareness of latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies
