- A contributor and technical leader of our Cloud connected product development team.
- Utilize modern technologies to build embedded edge device for our connected Client (Building Management System) products.
- Primarily working on design and implementation of both kernel space and user space components of the edge devices.
- Act as component leader and/or individual contributor in project team
- As component leader, provides software design, perform user story grooming, task breakdown and effort estimation
- As individual contributor, design, code and test software components
- Active player on SAFe ART, participate PI planning, sprint planning, review and daily standup meetings
- Mentor of junior team members, manage team performance by technical mentorship, code review and effective communication. Be responsible for team on time delivery and quality.
- Desire to jump in where needed. Resolve blocking issues and/or guide junior members to resolve issues
- learn new technologies, and work effectively across the full stack
- Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- At least 4 years of experience in the software industry
- At least 2 years of experience on embedded Linux, good understanding to both Linux kernel space and user space programming
- Great software design capability, capable of breaking software component down to individual achievable stories
- Excellent C/C coding and debugging skills
- RUST language coding skill is highly preferred
- Understanding to Docker based containerization technology is highly preferred
- Good Python coding skills
- Node.js coding skill is a plus
- Experience on working on project using SAFe process
- Experience on working with team using GitHub, JIRA tools
- Passion for technology: quickly learn new technologies and willing to dump into new domains
- Global Perspective: Ability to work collaboratively in global teams
