SQL DBA candidate for a contracting role in Madison, WI.Local Candidate only.First month 100% remote. After that, hybrid with 40% on site every week.Client is looking for an experienced DB2 DBA who will be responsible for the management, administration, and technical support for all DB2 databases that support the department and its divisions.The DB2 Administrator will provide technical consulting support for the management, control, tuning, design, and integration of corporate DB2 database support systems. Top Skills & Years of Experience: 7 years of experience in the following:• DB2 DBA mainframe experience (e.g. table management, running database or table reorgs, creating indexes, etc.)• Analyzing data structures and relationships along with expert SQL skills• Designing and creating data models• Project or technical leadership on database related projects• As one of our enterprise DB2 DBAs, this position is responsible for ensuring optimum performance, integrity, and availability of agency databases in a DB2 (mainframe) environment.This position will also assist in formulating policy standards, procedures, and guidelines for utilizing the DB2 database support systems.This candidate is expected to be on call every other weekend on Saturdays from 8 AM to Noon and Sunday from 6 PM to 12 AM (midnight) Interview Process : MS Teams with Video on, 1 to 2 roundsDuration: through 6/30/2023 with possible extensionsWill close to submissions on 11/3/2021 at 4:00PM CST.If you want to contribute your passion and skills in a team that values ambition and hard work, please send your resume to AE Business Solutions cannot sponsor applicants for employment visas.AE Business Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
