Description We are seeking a skilled Interim Senior Accountant to provide expert financial support during a transitional period. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and schedules.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger entries.

Support the budgeting and forecasting process.

Assist with audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors.

Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and improve financial processes.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
