Have the opportunity to help lay the foundation for our next generation of MR scanners based on the latest technologies.
Work closely with representative users and Feature leads to understand how to test the features of GEHCMR scanners.
Follow Agile development principles and a continuous integration and test environment to help us stay ahead of today’s fast-paced medical technology marketplace
Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision
Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse
Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities
Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 5 years of experience
Technical Expertise:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience planning, architecting, designing and implementing software applications.
Experience with Unix / Linux based programming
Industry experience with version control or configuration management and software build such as Gradle, Maven, Perforce, Git.
Skilled in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber/gherkin syntax.
Proficient in writing unit tests with Java/JUnit or JavaScript/Angular/Jasmine.
Familiarity working in a continuous integration workflow using Jenkins/Artifactory.
Knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle including requirements discovery, design, verification, product delivery and maintenance.
Experience evaluating test tools.
Desired Characteristics:
Master’s Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience
Experience working with medical devices
Well versed in microservice architecture or RESTful APIs.
Python scripting is a plus.
Experience using Cypress is a plus.

Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends
Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
