Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Staff Accountant is responsible for various aspects of finance and accounting for the organization like processing accounts payable, general accounting responsibilities, account reconciliations, and ensuring transactions comply with GAAP, Federal and State grants financial management guidelines, and internal policies and procedures. Our client is looking for an experience accounting professional to come and join a dynamic and friendly team, and serve the mission of their organization. Associate’s degree (Four-year Accounting degree a plus)
5+ years of accounting experience.
5+ years of accounts payable.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
Comfortable with office technology such as copiers, faxes, postage machines, etc.
Highly proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to learn and utilize additional forms of technology preferred.
Prefer experience in Non-profit accounting and Grants experience
Great Plains Dynamics experience a plus
Must be detail oriented, extremely organized and dependable.
