Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer Location of role: Onsite in Kenosha, there may be occasional client visits ( once or twice a month). If necessary, hybrid can be an option. Salary $75 to $85K area - Closer to the high end for more experience in an MSP as a Sales Engineer. Bonuses are discretionary at year end, based on Company performance & individual performance. Most of target earnings is in salary. Depending on experience DOE Key Points of the role: Two to four years of related product or sales experience required and big plus with any product or sales with a Managed Service Provider. Knowledge of licensing suites (O365, Microsoft, Google, Azure, AWS) Knowledge of Firewalls Palo Alto, Fortinet, SonicWall, Email Filtering and endpoint protection Barracuda, ProofPoint, BitDefender. Knowledge of MSP Tools, Autotask PSA, Datto RMM, IT Glue, Intune, Microsoft CSP Granular Delegated Administrator Privilege or GDAP, Barracuda MSP Console, BitDefender MSP Console, Meraki MSP Console Technical knowledge to know how to determine if something needs replacement and adequate sizing on what to replace. Research and analytical skills with ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales. Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences. BS degree in Engineering or Technology (preferred). Job Description Details: Description: - The Sales Engineer serves as a liaison in the sales process when complex and technical expertise are needed. Will specialize in understanding all the technical aspects of our products and will be able to explain them to technical and non-technical clients. Their duties include consulting on client needs, explaining product features to clients during presentations and negotiating contract terms. Responsibilities: Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements. Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers. Provides expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs. Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications.
