We have an opening for a Usablity Engineer with our direct client that requires work in the Milwaukee, WI office 2 days per week. Corp to Corp candidates are not eligible for this position.

Description The responsibility of this role is to provide human factors engineering (HFE) and usability expertise and strategy for usability tasks across the business for the full life cycle of product development, for all global regions. The focus of this role is to drive best-in-class design for User Experience (UX) design. Responsibilities include supporting usability tasks and deliverables across all products for the entire product life cycle. The usability engineer will provide guidance and mentoring to other product development engineers to improve the user experience design for all products in this division. This role will report directly into the Algorithm Team organization for this division. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide usability expertise and support for all usability deliverables across the entire life cycle of products including early usability VOC, development, installed based support, complaint investigations, use-based risk management, and usability related post-market surveillance.
  • Coordinate and guide human factors evaluation testing of products for all global regions.
  • Provide support for execution support for usability activities and to ground product development engineers in customer-focused HFE principles.
  • Support the usability studies and evaluations, both internally and externally initiated.

Quality Specific Goals: Awareness of and compliance with the company Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

Qualifications:
  • BSc in Human Factors or a BSc with Human Factors experience
  • Strong understanding of good clinical practice principles, HFE, and usability principles
  • At least 3 years of experience in HFE and usability engineering
  • Good in communication and at presentation skills
  • Customer interaction experience
  • Experience in understanding and communicating scientific data verbally and written
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
