Veterinary Assistant

This position is for an assistant to the technicians and the veterinarians. Previous professional experience with animals in some aspect is required.

Job duties include:

-Holding animals for exams and treatments

-Inventory and Stocking of hospital supplies

-Cleaning up after surgery procedure and instrument sterilization

-General hospital cleaning

-Outside maintenance - garbage pick up, snow shoveling, etc

Applicants must have:

-Good communication and listening skills

-Ability to multi-task

-Be able to lift and bend with 40# repeatedly

-Ability to work independently and efficiently without direction and also with a team
