Veterinary Receptionist

Our comprehensive training program empowers every member of our team to achieve their personal and professional development goals - regardless of experience level! Provide timely and professional communications with caregivers and coworkersGreet caregivers in a friendly and timely mannerReceive incoming calls, provide available information, and route as neededEnsure caregiver information is recorded accurately and consistently Assist, coordinate and/or perform surgical appointment scheduling between caregivers and medical staff Provide immediate support to all medical staff Triage & assist incoming patients based on urgency of care and available resources Interpret electronic medical records, in order to coordinate frequency of care and clerical data Perform clerical duties including, but not limited to, filing, copying, faxing, scanning, linking, emailing and mailing Be a resource for inventory control, to aid in loss prevention Ensure lobby remains clean throughout shiftEngage in PAW's Collaborative Process with accordance with current operational guideline​​​​​​​Attend individual Collaborative Meetings with members of the Collaborative TeamTrack progress through Core Training, and track issues and accomplishments as they ariseProvide feedback on guidelines, processes and policies with intent to improve efficiency and effectiveness Attend departmental or All-Staff meetingsMust be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.
