About Us

We specialize in the design and manufacture of high-quality product filling machines for industries including food, beverage, pharmaceutical, and personal care. Our fabrication shop focuses exclusively on stainless steel, with an emphasis on sanitary design and precision welding. We’re seeking a skilled TIG welder with experience in purge welding to join our team and help build the next generation of our machines.

Job Summary

As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding stainless steel components used in the construction of our filling machines and related assemblies. This includes performing purge welding to ensure clean, contaminant-free welds on critical components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of stainless steel welding techniques, surface finishing, and sanitary fabrication standards.

Job Shift

Mon-Thurs 7am to 5pm with optional 1 hour lunch. Friday 7am-11am (40 hrs/week)

Opportunity for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies

Execute purge welding techniques using argon gas to protect the weld zone and prevent oxidation on the backside of welds

Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings

Prepare materials and surfaces for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting

Perform surface finishing such as grinding, polishing, and buffing to meet sanitary or cosmetic standards

Inspect welds and finished surfaces for quality, consistency, and conformance to specifications

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and improve processes

Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, and weld positioners as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

2+ years of TIG welding experience, specifically with stainless steel

Proven experience with purge welding techniques and equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans

Familiarity with sanitary welding practices and standards (e.g., food-grade or pharmaceutical-grade fabrication)

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials and work in a shop environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $29.00 per hour
