Summary/ObjectiveThe Administrative Coordinator provides support to the Chief of Staff and CEO. This position is primarily responsible for performing administrative support tasks and assisting with special initiatives and events.

Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Answer telephones, direct telephone traffic, perform general receptionist duties.
  • Draft & respond to email.
  • Draft & proofread professional letters, documents, meeting minutes, and contracts.
  • Manage multiple calendars.
  • Assist in creating content for organizational intranet.
  • Process invoices and credit card expenditures.
  • Prepare meeting materials and agendas.
  • Assist with special projects and activities.
  • Provide support for coordinating travel arrangements, lunch meetings, and special events.

Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard officeequipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This would require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, and bending or stoop as necessary.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time or part-time status dependent on the need of the position. For part-time status, days and hours of work are generally Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

TravelLittle to no travel is expected for this position.

Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One-year experience in Administrative related work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associates degree
  • Two years experience in similar Administrative work
