Description We are offering an opportunity in the Construction/Contractor industry for a Business Manager based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The primary role will involve managing business operations, overseeing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires Handle customer interactions, including addressing complaints Develop, implement and track employee compensation Process company payroll and manage 401k contributions and enrollments Oversee employee benefits enrollment Monitor company finances Monitor and report on sales and installation activities Maintain the voicemail system Manage the Access database system Ensure accurate record keeping through spreadsheet management Respond to BBB enquiries Oversee staff managementRequirements Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for financial management and reporting Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and HR functions Experienced in handling Computerized Accounting System for efficient and accurate financial operations Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis Knowledge in carrying out Accounting Functions such as financial forecasting and risk analysis Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) including vendor payments and expense tracking Proficient in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) including invoicing and collections Experience in preparing and managing the Annual Budget of the organization Skilled in Cash Flow Analysis to ensure financial stability and growth of the organization Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills Knowledge of the construction industry and its financial regulations is preferred Proven experience as a Business Manager or similar role in a construction/contractor setting.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
