Job Summary

The Field Manager handles all onsite operations as they pertain to Earth Elements. The position acts as a liaison between the sales associates in the showroom and general contractors in the field for all departments, coordinating and overseeing installations of cabinetry, flooring, tile and slab.

  • Coordinating site deliveries of finished materials. Performing detailed delivery check off of cabinetry.
  • Visiting job sites to inspect installed materials.
  • Field measuring for cabinetry.
  • Reading plans and understanding site conditions.
  • Communicating to showroom sales associates a project's scope requirements.
  • Arrange installation of cabinetry and countertops.

Additional Job Functions

  • Ordering and delivering materials to assist in installs.
  • Visiting sites to answer home owner questions and concerns.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises sub contractors hired by Earth Elements to perform installations in the field.

Work Environment

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc. Time will be spent primarily on construction sites at all stages of building but also in the showroom.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This role requires a lot of time spent outside or in the truck and occasional lifting of materials over 50 pounds will sometimes be required.

Travel

Travel is primarily local, up to 1 hour driving distance during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record, per insurance eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of construction experience required.
  • Knowledge of product areas and lines, preferred
  • Must be proficient in Math and English
  • Clean driving record, able to meet insurability qualifications
