Float Driver

Job Description

The

• Drive the float van in a safe and law abiding manner in order to transportguests to and from the launch and pick up points
• Back trailerinto put-in and take-out slips
• Help guide for the day with loading and unloading the raft, and other housekeeping duties
• Follow all established guidelinesfor watercraft and river safety
• Maintain discipline and calmly, effectively, politely and professionally deal with upset or unruly guests
• Inspectwater, gas, oil and mechanical condition before leaving to transport guests; maintain appropriate water, gas and oil levels to ensure vehicles are in good operating condition; fill out and keep accurate operational records.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, rafts and trailers inside and out, as needed
• Provide accurate area and interpretive information
• Empty fish line recycling containers at Pacific Creek, Dead Man’s Bar, and Moose
• Knows and follows all company, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs.
• Works extra shifts and hours as required.
• Assists in other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
