Job DescriptionBehavior Consultant - ABA is needed for full-time employment.The Behavior Consultant - ABA will be required to:
design and direct the implementation of a behavior modification intervention plan which is individualized to each child.
work with the treatment team while maintaining some direct contact with the child and family.
provide assessments, program designs, and monitoring of treatment goals.
provide clinical documentation on treatment plan goals and behavioral progress.
provide supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians.
Qualifications and SkillsBe licensed as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, clinical social worker, social worker, behavior specialist, certified registered nurse practitioner or a professional with a scope of practice that includes overseeing the provision of ABA services and have one of the following:
A certification as a BCABA or other undergraduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 12 credits in ABA.
A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis.
Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved by the Department or provided by a continuing education provider approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
All candidates must undergo and pass Child Abuse, Criminal History background checks, FBI fingerprinting, and sex offender clearance.
