Job Responsibilities
Facilitate organic and paid amplification (boosting) social media strategy, performance and go-to-market integration for all brands within Vail Resorts’ portfolio; serve in central function supporting regional Communications & Social Media teams managing 100+ social handles across Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok and YouTube
Support organic social go-to-market program strategy and manage creative briefing and contingency planning for Pass, Visitation and Ancillary lines of business
Advise internal stakeholders on best practices, trends, UGC, algorithm updates, competitive landscape, platform features and tools, etc.; oversee continuous education for all social teams
Manage boosting operations and track associated spend
Manage social media measurement and reporting for full Communications team; analyze data to glean insights that guide social teams on optimizations; key reports include quarterly holistic and GTM performance, monthly sentiment aggregation and ad hoc reporting, as needed
Manage analytics infrastructure in Sprout Social
Develop and maintain enterprise organic social SOPs (e.g. information security, platform management, “how to” documents, planning and process support)
Provide platform operations support (proper Meta Business Manager account set up, portfolio verifications, etc); liase with platform reps, as needed
Always-on support for all regional social teams needing strategic guidance, insights, community management help, trouble-shooting help, etc.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong project management with the ability to work against tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Social media marketing expertise, including broad experience with and understanding of paid media
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective professional relationships with co-workers and external partners
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or similar applicable field is required
5+ years of in-depth professional experience
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $75,000 - $95,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.Job Benefits
