Calling all Medical Assistant to assist Medical Provder while conducting Veteran exams throughout Wyoming.We are health care innovators, problem solvers, and bridge builders for better health. Work in portable medical clinics for Veterans in various locations throughout Wyoming.

Verify patient’s identification and ability to build rapport to ensure patient satisfaction.

Collect biometric data (Manual Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, Waist.)

Collect quality specimens of patient blood for diagnostic testing (by means of venipuncture or skin puncture methodology utilizing a syringe, lancet, or other approved technique).

Receive, access, and process patient specimens (including centrifuge, make primary inoculations of media, prepare, and stain smears and/or plates, and operate semi and fully automated equipment).

Complete all data entry requirements accurately (including data entry of patient registration, entry of test order from requisition, or pull order from database).

Learn and maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, FDA-approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual & Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

2 - 8 shifts per month, dependent on the number of patients

8 hour shifts

High School Diploma

At least 1-2 years of experience within the medical field

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Suite

Excellent organizational skills

Strong written and oral communication skills

Great interpersonal skills

Able to pack up, load, set up, and haul medical equipment

Valid driver’s license, reliable/own transportation, and willingness to travel to the assigned clinic locations as needed

Comfortable working with adults of various ages
