Medcor is looking to hire a Full-Time Medical Receptionist for their Mammoth Clinic located in Yellowstone National Park. This position will assist in providing all aspects of customer service, billing information gathering and general clinic duties as they relate to the clinical services provided in Yellowstone National Park. The hours for this position are ENTER SCHEDULE HERE

A typical day in the life of a Medical Receptionist:

  • Answers incoming phone calls and interact with all callers in a helpful manner to resolve concerns or questions they may have
  • Manages a multiple line system
  • Support efforts to collect for clinical services rendered, including insurance related information collection, reviewing documentation of service, including coding and collection of payment at time of service
  • Support and cooperate with the Director of Operations to ensure optimal clinic operation and further Medcor, Inc. organizational goals
  • Work with Medcor IS and EHR to ensure updates and troubleshooting are accomplished in a timely manner
  • Verify registration information and assure registration includes local and permanent addresses
  • Interview patients or family members regarding finances on payment expectation using the tools provided by Medcor, Inc. and Rocky Mountain Health Network, Medcor, Inc.’s outsourced billing partner
  • Input all insurance/collections activity to established guidelines and in collaboration with the clinical staff, including assuring procedure and diagnosis codes are present
  • Set up acceptable patient payment arrangements, when requested
  • Order and maintain appropriate par levels of supplies for front desk duties to be fulfilled
  • Ensure waiting room is kept clean and straightened each AM and throughout the day, including checking that fish tank is functional and wall pamphlets are straightened and stocked

You Must

  • LOVE what you do
  • Have previous experience as a receptionist or in customer relations
  • Have the ability to type 30 WPM
  • Be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office
  • Possess excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Have a positive and outgoing personality
  • Be willing to go above and beyond just because that’s who you are
  • Be passionate about people and giving them the best care humanly possible

It’s a Plus If

  • You have some familiarity with EMR software
