Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Insurance Controller and Trend Analytics & Forecasting (TAF) is looking for a strategy advancement analyst to support strategic planning and business management for the team, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff. The primary objective of this role is to support the Chief of Staff, ensuring that the Controller and TAF teams deliver strong business and financial results and do so efficiently and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport annual team strategic plan

Support Chief of Staff and Leadership team in prioritizing business strategies. Coordinate with leadership to complete vision / mission / goals and articulate of strategic priorities.

Manage the office and rhythm of business

Work with Chief of Staff and Leadership team to prioritize key deliverables and priorities.

Orchestrating organizational schedule, providing visibility to key deliverables and deadlines to identified directly responsible individuals (DRIs) within the Controller/TAF organization.

Prepare meeting agendas, assist with planning team off-sites, establishing communication patterns and cadences across the Controller/TAF organization and external teams.

Identifying areas of improvement across the organization and making actionable recommendations to drive efficiency.

Day-to-day leadership support

Assist with day-to-day support in topics such as associate engagement, team huddles and follow-ups, conference planning and support, town halls and preparing the SVP for speaking engagements.

Completing special projects and initiatives for the Chief of Staff or SVP.

Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and 1 to 3 years of formal work experience at a large organization

Experience facilitating meetings and/or presenting in front of audiences

Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point

Demonstrated project management experience/skills

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple deadlines/deliverables simultaneously

Strong communications skills; both written and verbal

Record of successful cross-functional collaboration on complex initiatives

Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior and executive level audiences

Quickly assimilates new information and grasps new concepts, strong business and financial acumen 

Results and deadline driven, and comfortable dealing with and handling highly confidential information

Preferred Qualification

Undergraduate or graduate degree concentration in Business, Finance, or Communications

Background or familiarity with Humana strategy and operation

Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$69,800 - $96,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
