You will leverage your creativity with your knowledge of mechanical system controls, process automation controls and regulatory standards to solve problems that balance technical and design excellence.About the RoleThe Automation Engineer V – Senior Lead is responsible for overseeing the discipline at a project level and managing the project discipline budget on simple to complex projects of all sizes. The Senior Lead has a thorough understanding of the development and field implementation of documents through all project phases. The Senior Lead Engineer is responsible for directing and managing the workflows and execution of design and engineering support staff (Entry-Level to Senior) to meet client expectations and project goals.Core ActivitiesWorks with a Project Manager on proposal development, man-hour planning and project scheduling for the discipline scope of work on large, advanced/complex projects.Identifies and resolves advanced non-compliant existing conditions during site walks and construction field surveys.Develops construction drawing packages and writes construction specifications on advanced and complex projects without oversight.Provides lead and advanced support of construction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch list development and construction progress reports.Conducts technical and leadership interviews.Conducts quality checking of documents for advanced complex projects (e.g., technical verification of design calculations and documentation) and drives overall project quality.Provides mentorship to Discipline Engineer I, II, III and IV and/or Designer I, II and IIILeads advanced project system design programming and master planning with support from Senior EngineerLeads a team of discipline staff in the execution of advanced projects discipline design and engineering
