World Wide Technology, Inc. currently has an opportunity available for an Analyst in the IT - Lead to Order organization located at our headquarters in St. Louis, MO. Lead to Order applications support our inside sales teams, account managers, and external customers. These applications are highly visible and are currently being used by our WWT internal and external users around the globe. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team consisting of other Developers, Analysts, Architects, and Product Owners. Successful candidates will have a background in data and application analysis and will be responsible for the translation of business needs into IT solutions with current programs, projects, and initiatives in mind. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, highly innovative, and has a passion for learning both business and technical processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business needs and proposed solutions by working with a product owner, architect, and stakeholders
  • Write user stories that effectively communicate the product owner and stakeholder’s requirements that are easily consumed by our team’s developers
  • Write and maintain functional and regression test plans
  • Conduct user acceptance testing
  • Provide follow on support for post-production release features
  • Lead efforts to onboard existing and new programs
  • Provide on-call rotation support – typically one week, every 2 - 3 months
Skills Required
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Application development background - familiarity or working experience with web development in utilizing an Agile methodology
  • Strong interpersonal skills relate well with all levels of the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project and priority management skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Adapt to changing roles and changing priorities
  • The ability to work unsupervised, but also as part of a team is critical
