Companion Care Needed For My Adult Child In Ballwin

We need companion care to take care of my adult child in Ballwin. Some light tidying up is involved. Some help needed with bathing. We're looking for some help preparing meals. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with pets.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide support for a young woman with cerebral palsy, developmental delays, GERD, low thyroid, diabetes, and mental health conditions including depression and anxiety. She is wheelchair-bound and requires assistance with daily activities, companionship, and engagement in the community. Responsibilities: Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, diaper changes, and feeding Prepare meals according to dietary needs Maintain cleanliness of her room and living environment Provide companionship through games, conversations, and activities Accompany her to doctor’s appointments, shopping, music classes, dances, and other community outings Drive her using the family van (must have a clean driving record) Write reports detailing activities performed during each shift Clock in and out before and after each shift in accordance with agency requirements Schedule & Compensation: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (additional hours as needed) $18.00-21.00 per hour Paid through two agencies (Department of Mental Health & Medicaid) Qualifications: Must have their own transportation Clean driving record required Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required Comfortable working in a home with a cat If you are a reliable and caring individual who wants to make a meaningful difference in someone's life, we would love to hear from you.
