Job Title: CNC Operator/MachinistJob DescriptionThe CNC Operator/Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. This role requires comfort with changing out tooling and fixturing, as well as conducting first article inspections of machined pieces.Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts and components.
Maintain CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Change out tooling and fixturing as needed.
Conduct first article inspection of machined pieces.
Work independently to achieve production goals.
Essential Skills
Experience with Haas mills and lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Ability to operate lathe, drill press, and other machinery.
Skilled in using micrometers and calipers for quality inspection.
Basic understanding of SolidWorks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical experience, such as working on cars.
Eagerness to learn more about machining.
Experience with Haas and Gantry machines.
