The Collaboration Engineer must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of UC hardware and software for CISCO Voice Systems in providing high-level support and technical expertise in unified capabilities.

• Experience required in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection (CUC), Cisco Emergency Responder (CER), Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) and Cisco Meeting Server (CMS).
• Requires the ability of working with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on unified capabilities implementation, optimization, maintenance, and ongoing management.

• Preferred experience in security for Authentication, Certificates, and Encryption.
• Certification Requirements: CCNP Collaboration and at least five years working as a UC Engineer or equivalent.
• Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
• Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
• Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
• May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
• May have to work afterhours/weekends to resolve issues and/or support exercises.

• IAT level II Compliant certification (i.e. Security+ CE, SSCP etc).

• Must have TS/SCI level access. Must have clearance (and relevant certifications) prior to start in role.
