About the Role:

As a Diesel Mechanic you are responsible for:

-Heavy duty road truck, forklift, brake system, electrical systems, and minor diesel engine repairs.

-Understanding mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

-Conducting preventative maintenance and inspections.

-Troubleshooting equipment issues

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

-Have 8 years of prior diesel maintenance, preventative maintenance, and maintenance and repair experience (High School Diploma is a must - technical school or certifications are preferred)

-Weld (Stick and MIG) and fabricate machinery to specification standards

-Be proficient in working with heavy equipment, specifically: trucks, trailers, booms, forklifts, moffetts, and loaders

-Troubleshoot well in a fast-paced environment and diagnose the equipment's problems efficiently and effectively

-Communicate in an assertive but professional manner

-Understand and maintain DOT Regulations

-Work independently and be accountable for their daily tasks and work well within a team
