DNA Extraction Biologist- Risky opportunity

20 Feb 2024

Vacancy expired!

Seeking someone who is experienced in differential centrifugation mammalian cell DNA extraction.

Or other method that will leave DNA associated enzymes and miRNAs and transcription factors along with DNA

mostly intact. Or can figure it all out easily. Having an animal research license would be helpful but not required.

Recently Harold Katcher and Steve Horvath reversed the DNA methylation age of rats by 70% using 5 exosome extracts from young pig blood. see https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11357-023-00980-6

This made me think about a study done in1973 where a rat was given weekly DNA injections of unknown origin and it lived 6.3 years (220 in human years!). So many details were left out of the published study that it was referred to as quackery and widely denounced. See Prolongation of the Life Span in Rats by Max Odens MD

https://sci-hub.et-fine.com/10.1111/j.1532-5415.1973.tb01207.x Yet I researched Oden's background in London and he had a number of letters/comments published in the prestigious journal Lancet. He was keynote speaker at a number of medical conferences- he seemed 100% legit! No way would he create such an elaborate hoax.

If you deeply, and creatively analyze the paper you will find that Odens sprinkled hidden clues throughout. I once tried to recreate his experiment in the 1990's using various kind of DNA including calf thymus DNA which seemed to give some good results but the experiment was ended early. When I heard of Katcher's results a light bulb went off in my head! I've got it! A high-powered international patent attorney offered to get me a patent on the idea for free except for a small percentage of the patent. I revealed my invention on 1/1/2024 in a book I published on Amazon about all of this, so I have 10. 5 months until I have to file for a patent to be within the 1-year grace period allowed for a patent after publication has revealed an invention. The good thing is that the book publication means nobody else can ever patent this idea. I don't get a patent in the next 10.5 months then it will be free for everyone to use forever. Before I apply for a patent, I am hoping to have some proof-of-concept evidence to back it up although it is not necessary but would be helpful. That's where you come in. We will need to produce at least 8 mg of extracted DNA per week from tissue samples for 6 months. Why is this risky? It could have huge upside, and I am hoping to find someone who will review the things that I have found in Odens paper and then consider doing a little gig working or at least advising me for a share of a potentially very big patent. Keep in mind a very smart patent lawyer reviewed everything and is going to get worldwide patents for just a small piece of the pie. So, the risk is, downside, you waste some time, and time is money. The upside? Hard to imagine. Send me an email, and if you want, you can try to solve Oden's puzzle first before I tell you the answers. Thanks.
