The Field Service Manager is a Group Leader role, with responsibility for overseeing a group of Field Service Engineers at a particular site.ResponsibilitiesOversee team of field service engineers performing calibration and maintenance service on a wide range of instruments, from pipettes and balances to plate readers, GC’s, HPLC’s and UPLC’s.Work with CCM Regional Director to implement and manage performance management of staff, including ensuring that individual FSE’s are trained, set appropriate goals and have a clear understanding of the expectations for their roles and career progression.Alongside the Regional Director, manage recruiting and hiring of new staff to the team.Ensure that service personnel are properly resourced to deliver quality service.Assist in scheduling of work orders and manage any scheduling conflicts with both personnel and clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in their territory.Adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines.Effectively communicate with clients and other internal and external parties.Follow Eurofins work policies and all applicable SOPs.  Ensure that training on both remains current.Maintain client confidentiality, specifically if information about the customer is obtained from sources other than the customer (e.g. complainant, assessors).Act impartially within the management system.Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.
