Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: St. Louis, MODuration: 18 Months AssignmentTechnical Analyst will work with the Client's North America IT R&D team with a focus on reporting, database structures, and testing. This role will lead initiatives across the portfolio of applications supported by the team to determine the strategy, document the processes and deliver reports via Business Objects. In addition, this role will be responsible for driving improvements and automation of testing within the team.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Analyze existing requirements/reports• Perform database analysis• Determine migration strategy for moving reports to Business Objects.• Provide direction on testing tools• Develop & execute test plans• Ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverablesWork cross-functionally with other Client IT and project teams within Client's and Client's IT NA.• Using excellent inquiry and communication skills in collaboration across groups• Aligning both within the team and across other IT groups regarding reporting and testing best practices• Provide training materials & training to other team members• Ensure Client's Compliance and IT governance methods, processes, and tools are followed/usedGeneral Requirements• Strong verbal and written English communication skills• Effective Team player with strong interpersonal skills• Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem-solving skills• Excellent time management, organizational, and facilitation skills• Ability to work in a team and as an individual• Willingness to share knowledge & experience• Ability to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data from multiple sourcesExperience:• 3+ years as an IT business analyst with experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements• 3+ years of experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile / Lean methodologies• 5+ years of experience in test automation and planning, test case development, and execution• Experience in the consumer goods industry preferredTechnical Skills:• Experience using Power BI or similar data visualization tool• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite along with MS Visio and MS SharePoint• Understanding of database management tools including Oracle & SQL with experience in data analytics “Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
