Job Title: Java Backend DeveloperLocation: St. Louis MO
Job Description:• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures and core computer science concepts.• Understands the basic engineering principles used in building and running mission critical software capabilities (security, customer experience, testing, operability, simplification, service-oriented architecture)• Evidence of working with object-oriented development and design patterns.• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages such as Java, SpringBoot framework, RDBMS – Oracle, Webservice development• Has skills to author test code with lots of smaller tests followed by few contract tests at service level and fewer journey tests at the integration level (Test Pyramid concept)• Strong written and verbal English communications skills.• Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills.• Experience working in an Agile environment.• Experience with XP, TDD and BDD in the software development processes• Proficiency with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, serverless technology, NoSQL databases), micro-service design, CI/CD, DevOps• Expert in modern software design principles such as SOLID, DRY, and Single responsibility.
