Plant Manager/Engineer

Plant manager/engineer for metalworking manufacturing facility.

Responsible for customer orders, scheduling, and overseeing production. You will have some involvement with shipping and purchasing of materials if needed. You are the Plant Manager

Are you organized and able to problem solve? Support from Purchasing and Office Manager to keep the customers informed regarding orders. Front door to the shipping door, this a team effort.

A solid background with CAD software, such as autocad , solidworks, or solidedge . You will occasionally need to draw tooling for new customer request. This is not a too frequent occurrence , but it will be needed.

Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge needed for possible repair issues and functional knowledge. Electrical knowledge a plus.

Responsible for OSHA regulations, in metalworking environment.

Occasional contact with customers or other engineers, if needed. Maintain working relationships with supervisors, floor and office personnel.

We are a Monday -Friday, single day shift manufacturer. We provide ,primarily, OEM metal component parts and do not produce an assembled product.
