NW Employment is partnered with a Local Contracting company in Wilsonville, OR., and we are looking to add an Abatement/Demolition Project Coordinator to join our team!

Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00am – 4-4:30pm)

Salary: $68-$75K depending on experience.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in the asbestos abatement/remediation industry. We are seeking a project coordinator to join our team and work with a small, dedicated group of professionals that handle the operations of the company and support our 25-35 hard-working field team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, excel in multi-tasking and possess strong organizational and communication skills. We are looking for someone to take ownership of their projects, including setting up and establishing efficient job flow, coordinating the requirements for the job, the completion of job documentation, and monitoring assigned jobs from start to finish. Additionally, the experience and understanding of industry regulatory and safety compliance needs is required. Project Coordinator will be performing the following tasks from your in-office workstation:

Manage projects from start to finish and work closely with all internal and external stakeholders (Customers, sub-contractors, consultants, haulers, etc.)

Manage and plan multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Once we receive an authorization to proceed, set the project up, create work orders, PO’s etc.

Manage the coordination of waste hauling and equipment rentals with 3rd parties

Communicate daily and assist field team with project needs including pre and post photo logs

Track project progress and provide regular updates to the scheduling coordinator

Ensure that documentation is captured, reviewed, and uploaded to the project file daily including preparing post project close-out submittals

Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the projects

Support the importance of our safety culture, identifying any potential hazards, and communicating them back to the team in order to help establish control measures to ensure the safety of occupants and workers

If a responsibility or task needs to be completed, fill-in as needed depending on priority

Requirements:

Knowledge of Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint and Mold projects/regulations

Knowledge of general construction site operations

Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work

Knowledge of industry policies and procedures

Excellent communication, both verbally and written

Have high standards of professional conduct with clients, subs, and in-house.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities

Multitasking and time-management skills are necessary, with the ability to prioritize.

Team player, positive attitude, driven

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.

Ability to maintain any industry relevant accreditations/certifications and stay current on OR and WA regulatory requirements.

Participation on the safety committee and promotion a safe work environment throughout the company

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Bilingual a plus

Experience:

Project management/coordinator: 3+ years

Asbestos industry: 1 year (Preferred)

Lead-based paint & EPA RRP: 1 year (Preferred)

Mold remediation: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Asbestos Certification (Preferred)

EPA RRP Certification (Preferred)
