The City of Keizer’s Finance Department is recruiting for an Accounting Tech. The person in this position maintains customer billing records, generates bills and related reports, prepares adjustments to customer accounts and oversees the collection of delinquent accounts. As a Lead Worker to the Accounting Specialists, this position prioritizes schedules, assigns and reviews the work of staff. Also, in partnership with the Finance Director, this position evaluates staff performance; recommends personnel actions, including disciplinary and training plans; and makes hiring and termination recommendations. This position is highly visible to customers and must be able to use effective problem-solving skills, especially during conflictive situations.

Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, on-site, 8:00AM to 5:00PM with a 60-minute lunch break
