Description Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Collections professional for a thriving Manufacturing company in Eugene, OR. The Accounts Receivable/Collections role is a permanent position. To succeed in this role, you will need to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.Responsibilities

Verify the correctness of documents and codes

Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization

Handle payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures

Answer questions from shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stake holders

Post and balance financial information in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts

Contact clients to settle payment issues and establish payment plans as required

3+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable and collections is required

Analytical skills in accounts receivable and accounting policy

Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

Commercial collections experience

Foundational knowledge in iMac desired

Cash reconciliations experience

Adeptness in account reconciliation

ERP system experience

AA or BS/BA degree in accounting or related field desired but not required with sufficient experience

Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
