Description:

Assist quality lead with monitoring and maintaining document control, including SOPs.

Notify supervisors of any job-related issues or needs, including spills or accidents.

Assist with audit preparation and action items.

Liaison with production for all quality-related matters and documenting all responsibilities to insect production and in-process quality.

Coordinate quarterly vendor reevaluations with quality management team and purchasers.

Coordinate and track monthly samples and results for quality testing with quality team and laboratory.

Respond to internal and external information requests and influence positive change externally by representing company to regulatory agencies, industry organizations, customer and suppliers.

Verification and collections of data regarding KPI's

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have great communication skills in order to take quality complaints to appropriate team and work on finding the root cause. Will need to be able to work independently.

Must have some experience working within a manufacturing or agricultural setting where they were working in quality, compliance or safety.

Must have Microsoft office suite experience with strong proficiency creating and manipulating formulas.
