Description We are in search of an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Salem, Oregon. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support, including customer service, data entry, training, policy implementation, and research. Your workplace will be a multi-channel contact center, where you will provide support both over the phone and in person. Responsibilities: Research and respond to inquiries from members, providers, employers, and internal teams. Educate both members and providers about our services and benefits, promoting optimal use of healthcare services. Apply critical thinking skills to problem solve when the root cause of an issue is not apparent. Handle member or provider's issues in a timely, efficient, and detail oriented manner. Document all interactions in accordance with company standards, aiming for resolution at the point of service. Demonstrate strong data entry skills and PC processing skills in a Windows-based environment. Exhibit strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Provide and receive feedback constructively to improve personal performance and team effectiveness. Multitask effectively, with the ability to communicate and type simultaneously. Requirements Excellent customer service skills, with a knack for building and maintaining strong relationships Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English Proficient in data entry, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to conduct comprehensive research and compile detailed reports Experience in workstation support and troubleshooting detail oriented phone presence and manner Proficiency in using networks and optimization tools Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team Experience in a call center environment would be beneficial Excellent coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Familiarity with health care systems and procedures Ability to conduct all duties in a detail oriented manner.
