Auto body / Auto Restoration techs

Auto restoration techs needed. Located in NE Salem near 1-5, Portland road, and Salem Parkway off Hyacinth. Large 22,040 Sqft shop with 25 to 30 restorations at a time. Been in business for 31 years.

We have lots of work and need more help Work 4 ten hour days. Monday thru Thursday 7AM to 5:30 PM. Friday, Saturday, Sunday off EVERY WEEK Pay based on experience. We are interested if you fit a single numbered position or have some skills from more than one position. We have over 100 cars waiting to come in. WE NEED TECHS

2. positions.

#1 Auto body Tech.

Install and align bolt on and weld on sheet metal.

( Replace 1/4 panels, floor pans, tail panels, trunk floors, wheelhouse panels, etc) Repair dents, do filler work, MIG weld. Rust repair. Assembly and dis-assembly of cars.

A PLUS if you can …….Repair and install fiberglass panels (on Corvettes), TIG weld, or have mechanical skills.

#2. Restoration Mechanic. Have most of the skills below.

You would completely disassemble cars to place on a rotisserie.

And reassemble them once painted. Rewire cars with either factory replacement or custom wire harness. Upgrade to overdrive transmissions. Rebuild / upgrade suspension and brakes. Do chassis and engine swaps and upgrades. You will work with carburetors and distributers. Familiarities with new LS, Coyote or newer Mopar Hemi's a plus.

Must have a passion for cars. Be a team player, on time, great attendance.

Must be able to speak, read and write/type English. Must have own tools.

Vacation, paid holidays, 401K. After one year.
