Beekeeping Apprentice

We are a large commercial beekeeping company in Lane County. Employees will assist in all aspects of our beekeeping operation: working colonies; feeding; treating; moving colonies into and out of crops and honey locations.

Full-time work means "farmers hours" so flexibility is a plus!

No experience is necessary, we will train on the job. English as second language is acceptable. We are an LGBTQ+ friendly company.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

- NOT be allergic to bees

- Have a valid ODL and the means to arrive at work on time

- An alcohol and drug free work environment

- Be able to lift 30-60 lbs regularly at times through the season

- Be able to work out-of-doors in various weather conditions

- Able to work independently for periods of time

- Have positive mental attitude

- Be a detail-oriented critical thinker

- Want to experience something new and interesting
