Caregiver – $25.50 per hour days or evenings FT/PT-Study on the job!

Caregiver for disabled 21 year-old female. $25.50 per hour with benefits possible bonuses. Shifts are generally either 7 AM to 3 PM daily or 3 PM to 9:30 PM in the evening. People who love this job and have stayed for more than a year, include students who are able to study for parts of their shifts, writers or editors who can work on devices and those who like to keep up with their social media or email accounts.

Requirements include being over 18 years old, able to lift 30 pounds, pass a background check and be certified as a direct support professional by Thrive Inc. No training or personal experience is needed, just a good heart, are good workers and willing to provide companionship for a sweet little girl.

Duties include tube, feeding, positioning, assisting with wheelchair transfers, assisting with walking, assisting with bathing, giving medication’s and changing diapers. You will also accompany this client to various activities in the Bend area, like Parks and Recreation events, shopping, workout classes and friend groups.

This job works wonderfully for students who are looking for an income while being able to study or those who like to read or write during hours of supervision. While this client is nonverbal, she does not have behavior issues. Other benefits include paid time off and access to health insurance.
