- Participate in Incident Response, providing collaborative troubleshooting expertise in high pressure situations
- Monitor operational status and stability of network infrastructure in both IT and OT environments
- Receive escalations from Service Desk and/or Network Administrators
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship
- Create and maintain documentation
- Create reports as needed and present results to stakeholders
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents through troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Provide recommendations on system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system
- Assist with recommending, scheduling, and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs
- Research, evaluate and recommend software and hardware solutions based on business need & anticipated growth
- 8+ years, experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VLANs, firewalls, etc.
- 2+ years, experience administering tenants (Azure or similar public cloud provider)
- 2+ years, experience in an industry with regulatory oversight
- 4+ years, managing enterprise enterprise-wide WAN/LAN/WLAN
- Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Networking Software (IOS, XE, XR, and NX-OS) is required
- Experience with transport layer protocols & media (cellular, microwave, dark fiber, leased services)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, firewalls, switches, modems, network interface cards, etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of current protocols and standards, including TCP/IP, 802.11, EIGRP, BGP, IPSEC, OSPF, DMVPN, IPSec
- Experience with Firewalls, Remote Access VPNs, and other security appliances
- Experience in a Managed Services environment is a plus
- Experience with SDWAN technologies is a plus
- Experience managing datacenter networks (Nexus NX-OS, ACI)
- The following certifications are highly desired: CCNP, PCNSE, ITIL Foundation
