DescriptionCNA 2 – Orthopedics Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends.$4,000 hiring bonus and relocation aid for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.Extra Incentives:

Evening shift differential – 2.25 p/hr

Night shift differential – $4.00 p/hr

In this position you will:

Contribute to a high functioning team

Meaningfully advance post-operative recovery of surgical patients.

Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights

Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests

Assist with client mobility and transfers, using lifts and safe patient handling devices

Opportunities for continuing education and professional development, including annual CNA conference

Other duties as assigned

The Certified Nursing Assistant 2 (CNA 2) assists a Registered Nurse (RN) in providing comprehensive nursing care by performing specified duties and functions under the direct supervision of the RN.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course or equivalent education/experience:

Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements.

Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualification:

1 year experience as a CNA 2.
