Company Support Driver - HIRING NOW! (1) Position Available

Pfeifer Roofing is looking to bring on (1) experienced company support driver to assist our team.

A Company support driver is responsible for delivering product and material to and from job sites. The driver will load and unload material at the warehouses and/or job sites. This position requires a high level of physical activity throughout the day.

This consists of driving company trucks, box trucks, dump trucks and hauling a variety of trailers. Making sure maintenance logs are completed, the vehicle is washed and assisting with fleet services when needed.

Our drivers represent the company in a professional manner in all dealings with customers, personnel, and the public at all times. They receive driver education training, physical training and re-trainings to maintain clear standards of excellence.

Job Requirements

o Proven experience as a safe Driver (5 years minimum)

o Valid Class C driver’s license, Preferred Class A license

o Insurable driving record through Pfeifer Roofing's carrier and maintaining coverage standards

o Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)

o Familiarity with GPS devices

o Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods

o Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage and meet jobs physical demands

o Ability to remain calm in traffic and high stress scenarios

Safety and security – the ability to identify and correct unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards.
