We design and create CUSTOM fixtures, displays, cabinetry, signage, and architectural pieces for commercial and residential projects. We work with a wide range of clients, including but not limited to:

Museums: exhibits, display cases/pedestals, and interactive displays

Hospitality and Retail: fixtures and artwork

Corporate: furnishings, signage, and plaques

Residential: High-end Remodeling and artwork commissions

We are seeking a creative and experienced Shop Lead Craftsman/Fabricator to add to our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly skilled in wood, metal & plastic fabrication. Experience with on-site installations is a must. In addition to working with a highly collaborative team, we provide:

Compensation: $25-$35/hour depending upon experience.

Craftsman/Fabricator Job Responsibilities:

Fabricate custom projects including displays, fixtures, cabinetry, and more

Build to high levels of quality

Successfully install custom projects on client site

Perform R&D to determine the best fabrication approach

Work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines

Operate and maintain trade tools and equipment used in skilled carpentry and fabrication

Work with materials, methods and techniques used in skilled carpentry and fabrication

Perform preventive maintenance on tools

Continuously evaluate and improve production methods and flows and implement approved recommendations

Maintain attention to detail

Apply appropriate health and safety precautions and procedures

Required Skills and Experience:

Wood fabrication (minimum of 8 years)

On-site installations (minimum of 8 years)

Material fabrication experience other than wood (i.e. plastic, metal)

Ability to manage and motivate others in a team environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Ability to prepare materials per specifications (size/mill)

Ability to work alone or in collaboration with the team

Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (50 lbs)

Excellent oral communication skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Cabinet Vision and AlphaCAM

Experience operating a CNC router

Experience operating a CNC laser

Metal fabrication
