Customer Experience Associate - NW Portland Job DescriptionThis position requires individual interaction with customers, developing relationships, and substantial knowledge of products sold. Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, educating the customer on the sales process, assessing the customer’s needs, and locating products that closely match their specified color demand.

Assist clients in selecting slabs for their overall project(s).

Help coordinate marketing and outreach efforts to architects, designers, homebuilders, and the general public through various channels.

Assist dealers such as fabricators with the sales and ordering process.

Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and as required.

Perform additional duties as assigned, including answering the phones, organize the designer room, file paperwork, and answer any questions the customer might have.

Attend scheduled training meetings.

Up keep on Showroom Literature.

Maintain showroom appearance.

Assist with market research and new customer contacts.

Attend Events and Training outside of showroom hours.

Provide and encourage outstanding customer service.

Assist walk-in clients and customers with product selection.

Sell additional product lines and upgrades.

Answer telephone calls.

Maintain existing customer relationships and network.

Repeatedly walk from showroom to warehouse with customers.

Tag selected slabs in Stone Profits.

Verify availability and location of material in the Warehouse.

Follow through with ongoing customer accounts.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching. Bending for filing is occasionally required. Must be able to work Saturdays.
