Description We are in the process of hiring a Data Entry Clerk for our client's construction and contracting operations located in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role is critical in providing data entry support for a vendor undergoing a process change. Responsibilities include entering contract information such as customer names, addresses, window measurements, material specifications, and more. This position is a short term contract opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurate data entry of customer and contract information, including names, addresses, window measurements, and material specifications. Assisting in the transition process of the vendor by providing efficient data entry support. Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites for data entry and record-keeping tasks. Ensuring the maintenance of clear and accurate data records. Delivering tasks within designated timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Regularly updating the database with new information as required. Utilizing typing skills of 45-60 WPM to ensure efficient data entry. Collaborating with the team to ensure all data is entered and updated as required. Adhering to all data privacy rules and regulations. Contributing to the overall efficiency of the construction and contracting operations by ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.Requirements Proficiency in Data Entry is essential Must have a typing speed of 45 - 60 WPM Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites is required Prior experience in the Construction/Contractor industry will be beneficial Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly Experience in using data entry software will be an advantage Should be comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of databases is preferred Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
