Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the construction/contractor industry, based in Hillsboro, Oregon. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will provide essential support by ensuring accurate and efficient data entry. Your role will involve working with vendor management, contract information, customer data, window measurements, and material specifications. Responsibilities: Enter contract information accurately, including customer names and addresses Accurately input window measurements and material specifications into the system Provide data entry support for vendors undergoing process changes Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for data management and reporting Maintain a typing speed of 45 - 60 WPM to ensure efficient data entry Regularly update and maintain accurate customer records Resolve customer inquiries related to data entry Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on data analysis Collaborate with team members to improve data entry processes and systems. Requirements Proficient in data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Able to type between 45 and 60 words per minute Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong multi-tasking abilities and able to work under pressure Proven track record of reliability and consistency Previous experience in construction or contractor industry is advantageous High school diploma or equivalent educational level Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently.
