Data Modeler - 100% remote We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with excellent Data Analysis skills and five years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling to join our Fortune 100 client. This Data Modeling expert will oversee data mapping for data conversion from legacy data stores and formats to new data structures, and perform architectural alignment with enterprise formats, developing Logical Data Models, Physical Data Models, and Data Element Dictionaries. Requirements: - Excellent Data Modeling experience in the build of Conceptual, Logical, Physical Model for Batch and Real Time events in a cloud environment
- Five years' hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling experience with Erwin (Hackolade is the team's tool)
- Expert knowledge on various Data modeling techniques that are suitable for ODS / EDW / Data Lake / Analytical Stores
- Excellent Data Analysis skills, expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools
- Modeling for SQL and NoSQL Databases, and experience with SQL Server / Postgres / Hive / DynamoDB / Snowflake Database, and Git
- Working knowledge in the creation of data infrastructure such as views, stored procedures, ETL usage, real-time/streaming data integration
- Knowledge of the development of data models compliant with non-functional enterprise requirements, such as security and performance guidelines
- Deep understanding of data flow diagrams, system architecture diagrams, functional and system analysis
- Good Documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and a "go getter" mentality
- Supply Chain domain knowledge is a plus
