The Director of Sales provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization’s sales function. As the organization’s senior sales leader, the Director of Sales is accountable for overall sales team performance, the achievement of the sales team’s goals, and for the alignment of sales objectives with firm business strategy.  This position is responsible for establishing the company sales targets to meet the company objectives. Responsible for developing strategic sales plans, training, and analysis, based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.Travel is required for in-person meetings with sales teams, partners, and vendors to develop key relationships.Responsibilities and objectives include:Development of an employee-oriented Springs company sales culture that emphasizes empowerment, ongoing business and goal achievement, team-based outcomes, genuine relationship-building, and high performanceDevelop and implement sales plans and strategies for effective management of The Springs Living’s communities to achieve the company’s goals, maintaining community occupancy while striving for opportunities to optimize community market ratesAligns the sales organization’s objectives with firm business strategy through active ownership of strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgetingTo be successful in this role, a candidate must be highly motivated, bring a positive attitude,  and be results driven, with a firm understanding that achieving quality and success in any organization results from strong teamwork. The director of sales must possess business acumen partnered with attention to the human element with strong interpersonal and communication skills as they guide prospects and their families.
